Nommissar Cheese is a special fundraiser mini created to help pay for the medical costs for our bestest dog Pippin. Pippin suffered a horrible accident over the weekend. We had no idea what happened but we could see that his eyeball had exploded and was hanging out of its socket. We rushed him to the emergency animal hosptial where they immediately got to work, getting him stabilized and on pain medication and antibiotics. X-rays showed that he had a fractured skull as well which helped us rule out tumors or cysts. The vet told us that given his old age of 14 years and the unpredictability of head trauma that we might have to euthanize Pippin. But I felt that if he could just make it through the surgery ok he could also heal the fractured skull and we could deal with whatever comes after when we have to, so we decided to roll the dice. And he made it. Pippin is now recovering from surgery and appears to be doing well but he will need to visit the vet a few more times and we want to be ready for any complications should they arise. That’s where Nommissar Cheese comes in. If you can spare a few bucks pick up this mighty hero, print him out, and watch him inspire your troops on the battlefield.
